The Dadasaheb Phalke Film City Awards 2024 recently took place at the Veda Kunba Theater in Andheri (West), Mumbai, organized by Bombay Entertainment. The event, aimed at recognizing excellence in Bollywood and the broader film industry, saw a gathering of notable personalities and talents.

Renowned Bollywood actor, singer, and announcer Raju Taak presided over the ceremony, which

commemorated the legacy of Dadasaheb Phalke, often hailed as the father of Indian cinema. Punit Khare, a respected figure in film public relations since the 1980s, played a crucial role in organizing the event.

Chandrashekhar Pusalkar, grandson of Dadasaheb Phalke, and his adopted daughter Neha Bandopadhyay were among the distinguished guests honored during the ceremony.

The event also saw the felicitation of various talents from the film fraternity, including Ronnie Rodrigues (Cine Booster), Dr. Bharti Lavkar (Versova M.L.A.), Bhoomik Patel (Singer/Producer), Sangram Shirke, B.N. One of the noteworthy moments of the evening was the awarding of the Best Feature Film accolade to the Nepali film "Vichhed."
