From Theory to Practice – Enriching Workshop for Nursing Students

A two-day workshop titled "Application of Nursing Theories" was successfully organized on July 1–2, 2025, by Geetanjali College and School of Nursing, Udaipur. The objective of the workshop was to deepen the understanding of various nursing theories among students and educators and to highlight their effective application in nursing care.

The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. On the first day, nursing faculty members delivered insightful sessions explaining different nursing theories and their real-world relevance in healthcare settings.

Eminent dignitaries including Dr. Vijaya Ajmera, Dean – GCSN; Prof. Dr. Yogeshwar Puri Goswami, Principal – GCN; Prof. Kamlesh Joshi, Administrative Officer; and Prof. Jayesh Patidar, Academic Officer, graced the occasion with their presence.

The second day witnessed an interactive session where MSc Nursing (Previous Year) and Post Basic BSc Nursing students presented various case scenarios demonstrating the practical application of nursing theories.

The workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates to the resource persons and participants, marking a successful step from theory to hands-on practice in nursing education.
