Orientation Program on "Cultured Healthcare Services and Medical Ethics

*Udaipur,  In collaboration with Pacific Medical University, Pacific University, the University Association of Indian Universities, and the Government Aryurveda Institute, under the joint auspices of "Cultured Healthcare Services and Medical Ethics," a four-day orientation program commenced today. Dr. M.M. Mangal, President of PMU, delivered a lecture on surgical ethics during the program.

Dr. Mangal emphasized that a successful physician's conduct reflects the formation of his character. He stressed the importance of providing medical services to patients without causing harm, which ultimately leads to more than fifty percent of the cure. Furthermore, he advocated for necessary examinations before resorting to surgery in cases where treatment through medication is possible.

During the event, Professor and Head of the Department of Neurosciences, Dr. Atulabh Vajpayee, provided information on spirituality based on neurologic and scientific foundations. He elucidated that as we often discuss, our Intelligence Quotient (IQ) demonstrates the left brain, while the Emotional Quotient (EQ) illustrates mutual affectionate relationships between individuals. EQ is controlled primarily by the right brain. When the right and left brains function harmoniously, Spiritual Intelligence is developed, which represents a form of high expertise. The cultivation of Spiritual Intelligence allows us to experience joy, peace, compassion, and love in life, enabling us to remain stress-free. Yoga, meditation, and pranayama play a significant role in the development of Spiritual Intelligence.

During the program, Dr. Harish Kumawat spoke on Ethics for Paramedical Personnel, and Dr. Ritu Bhatnagar delivered a lecture on Ethics in Medical Investigations.

On the final day of the orientation program, April 25, Dr. Pushpakanth Shakdwipi will speak on Human Resource Management and the Role of Emotional Intelligence in Managing Healthcare Services. Additionally, as a distinguished speaker, Dr. Jayanti Bhai Bhadesia will deliver the keynote address on Ancient Healthcare Systems.
