Deependrasingh Assumes Office as Additional District Collector in Udaipur

Udaipur: Deependrasingh Rathore, an officer of the Rajasthan Administrative Service batch of 2011, took charge as the Additional District Collector (Administration) in Udaipur on Thursday.

Rathore assumed office this morning and paid courtesy visit to the outgoing District Collector Arvind Kumar Poswal. After taking charge in Udaipur, Rathore inspected the office and gathered information regarding the work from the heads of departments. He also received feedback on the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the district and issued directives to ensure compliance with the Election Commission's guidelines.

A native of Banswara district, Rathore previously served as the Additional District Collector in Pratapgarh. Prior to that, he held various positions including Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Dungarpur, Sagwara, Pokaran, Salumber, and Arnod, Assistant Collector (Land Revenue) in Chittorgarh, CEO of the District Council in Dungarpur, Excise Officer in Kota, and Additional District Collector in Chittorgarh and Pratapgarh.
