Udaipur: On the occasion of Chaturmas, Sukun Muni Maharaj, a prominent Jain spiritual leader associated with Shri Vardhman Sthanakvasi Jain Shravak Sangh, delivered a morning discourse in Panchayati Nohare, located in the Sindhi Bazaar, on behalf of the organization. He emphasized that Jain scriptures, especially Jinwani, are the voice of the people. Those who have read and integrated Jinwani into their lives have found salvation. Their souls have become pure, and their character has become virtuous. Jinwani uplifts and contributes to the welfare of our lives.
He stated that in order to make our lives meaningful and successful, we must incorporate Jinwani into our lives. Only then can our lives become meaningful. This can only be achieved when our intentions are pure. Regardless of the task we undertake, its success depends on the purity of our intentions.
Amrit Muni Maharaj, a sub-initiator, mentioned that in this life, we must walk the path laid out by the divine. If someone thinks they are in this world to earn money, indulge, and enjoy life, they can never attain salvation. Their soul will not be purified, and they cannot walk the path laid out by Lord Mahavir. In life, we must always maintain integrity and truthfulness. We should find contentment in what we have because whatever is written in our destiny is what we receive. If we desire more than that, we will go astray.
Muni Maharaj emphasized that when offering food to someone, our intentions should be pure. If our intentions are impure while providing or partaking in food, neither will the recipient benefit nor will the person providing the food be content. Always consider food as prasad (a divine offering). Never refer to it as a meal; instead, it should be served as an offering of the divine. While eating and serving food, it is imperative to maintain purity of intentions and ensure not even a single morsel falls on the ground as it is not just a meal but the divine's prasad, and disrespecting food or prasad is unacceptable.
