Yoga Practice Continues for a Healthy Lifestyle

Udaipur,In a continued effort to make Udaipur district healthy and disease-free, an Integrated Assistant Yoga Teacher Training Camp is being conducted by Patanjali Yog Parivar, Udaipur at the Veerwal Jain Samaj Hostel, Manvakheda since May 18.

Media in-charge and yoga practitioner Jignesh Sharma informed that, along with the training camp, a district-level rehearsal of the Yoga Protocol was conducted by senior yogacharya Ganpat Lal Chitara, which included prayer, warm-up, micro-exercises, standing, seated, prone, and supine yoga postures, followed by pranayama and yoga nidra. District head of the Patanjali Yog Samiti Mukesh Pathak delivered an insightful discourse on Ashtanga Yoga and Yoga Sutras.

Dr. Rajeev Bhatt, Deputy Director and Nodal Officer of the Ayurveda Department, stated that in preparation for International Yoga Day 2025, a minute-to-minute rehearsal of the district-level Yoga Protocol will be conducted at various historical and tourist spots in Udaipur until June 20. He emphasized that the general public can greatly benefit by becoming aware of yoga and adopting a healthy lifestyle.

District Coordinator of International Yoga Day and Additional District Collector Mr. War Singh said that regular yoga practice is the foundation of a healthy lifestyle. Hence, more citizens should participate and adopt yoga to ensure the well-being of both body and mind.

Senior Ayurvedic Medical Officer and Assistant Nodal Officer Dr. Shobhalal Audichya informed that the upcoming rehearsal will take place on Sunday, June 1 at Goverdhan Sagar Pal from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM. He urged the public to participate in large numbers and support this campaign to spread yoga to every individual.

The yoga session will be conducted by Dr. Shubha Surana, a yoga trainer from Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, following the minute-to-minute Common Yoga Protocol. Dr. Audichya also mentioned that yoga masters including Mukesh Pathak, Yogi Ashok Jain, Mohan Singh Shaktawat, Naresh Paliwal, Jignesh Sharma, Gopal Dangi, Puran Singh Rathore, Prem Jain, and Sharda Jalaura from Patanjali Yog Parivar, Udaipur, are actively supporting this initiative.
