The BJP's nationwide membership campaign is set to begin on September 1, 2024, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi being inducted by BJP National President JP Nadda. Ahead of this, a workshop for the 2024 membership drive was held at the BJP city district office in Udaipur, led by State General Secretary Shravan Singh Bagri.
Presiding over the workshop, BJP City District President Ravindra Shrimali highlighted the party's previous achievements and emphasized that Udaipur will set new records in this year's campaign. The workshop saw discussions on strategies to ensure extensive participation at the booth level, with a goal of enrolling over 200 members per booth.
Shravan Singh Bagri, the keynote speaker, explained the process, stressing the importance of accuracy in membership enrollment to prevent unqualified individuals from joining. He also emphasized the need for inclusivity, urging workers to involve people from all castes, religions, and communities.
Udaipur MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat encouraged members to stay vigilant against anti-national forces and highlighted the importance of the BJP's ideology in countering separatist agendas. He also addressed concerns about tribal reservation issues, clarifying the party's stance on supporting the Bhil community.
City MLA Tarachand Jain and Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena emphasized the importance of community representation and urged workers to treat the membership drive as a festival, ensuring the participation of all sections of society, including women and minorities.
Cooperative Cell State Coordinator Pramod Samar advised workers to be diligent in the membership process, ensuring that only those who genuinely align with the party's values are enrolled.
The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks from City District General Secretary Gajpal Singh Rathore. Numerous party officials and representatives from various divisions were in attendance.
