Digital and Analytics Conclave Inaugurated at Pacific University

Udaipur.In the current era of digital technology and analytics, the prosperity of nations will depend on their technical capabilities and digital technologies. Providing this insight, the chief guest of the Digital and Analytics Conclave, UNESCO M.G.I.P. Chairman Prof. B.P. Sharma, stated that the use of digital and analytics is prevalent today in various sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, defense, banking, industrial production, and more. Its utility cannot be overlooked, and in the coming decade, the creation of more and more employment and solutions to public problems will be through digital technologies. He emphasized that nations that embrace high technology and continuously innovate are prosperous today. The disparity between the wealthiest and poorest nations, which was three times in 1820, has now increased to 400 times, primarily due to technological advancements and innovations. Nations that have adopted and consistently innovated in high technology are now prosperous, providing their citizens with a more comfortable life. India has the potential to play a leading role in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Manish Joshi, Senior Manager at Blue Yonder Panasonic, the guest of honor at the event, shared that things once considered imaginations are now turning into reality. Artificial intelligence has become highly affordable, and he encouraged students to grasp professional knowledge systematically for success. He highlighted that over 3,500 startups are currently operating in the country through the Atal Incubation Centers in universities.

Addressing the welcoming ceremony, Dean of P.G. Studies Prof. Hemant Kothari mentioned that this conclave would be immensely helpful in providing official information to students in the field of artificial intelligence. The convergence of human and machine learning will teach students valuable skills, making them more employable in diverse national and international companies.

Pacific University is offering new courses such as M.Sc. Data Science, B.Tech A.I.M.L, M.B.A. Data Analytics, and B.B.A Digital Marketing, which are in high demand in the industry. The conclave aims to increase awareness about blockchain, cybersecurity, data science, and analytics.

The President, Prof. K.K. Dave, urged students to excel in various competitions like Datathon, Business Idea Presentation, Debate, Digital Olympiad, Digital Business Quiz, and Poster Making. According to him, the program is equally important for all teams of students, whether they come from tribal areas in Udaipur or cosmopolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, or Jaipur. It will prove to be a milestone in their academic progress.

Senior Manager at Sep Labs, Ravi Ojha, provided information to students about blockchain, its various applications, and possibilities. Convenor Dr. Deepin Mathur mentioned that the conclave has organized exhibitions on technological demonstrations through 10 booths. These include demonstrations of the impact of digital testing on pharmaceutical production, the process of creating animated games using Python libraries, and practical demonstrations of creating advertisements for various products using artificial intelligence. The booths also cover web development, app creation, cybersecurity, augmented reality, virtual reality, business analytics, and the Internet of Things. Students from Pacific University are providing comprehensive information on all these topics to participants from 20 universities across the country, including 70 institutions of higher education.
