Congress works while BJP only does politics: Shri Tarachand Meena

A meeting was held in the Gogunda assembly constituency of Udaipur parliamentary area, where Congress candidate Shri Tarachand Meena addressed party workers. Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, the spokesperson for Udaipur rural district Congress, stated that Shri Tarachand Meena, the Congress candidate from the Udaipur parliamentary seat, called upon the common people to uproot the BJP government, which he described as having a colonial mentality, by making false promises and engaging in political gimmicks.

Shri Meena addressed a meeting of party workers organized under the joint supervision of the Block and Majavat Panchayats and Vakal Mandal Congress in Gogunda. He said, "The Congress has nominated me as a candidate from the Udaipur parliamentary seat. I have come to serve you, leaving the collector's chair for your service. If you give the Congress party a chance to win and serve me, I will leave no stone unturned in your service." Shri Meena further stated that the previous Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's government was a sensitive and transparent government. Since the BJP government came to power in the state, they have shut down many pro-people schemes initiated by the previous Congress government. Congress works, while the BJP only does politics. The BJP government caters to the capitalists; it is a government of slogans and false promises. They need to be defeated. 

He questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guarantee, asking what happened to his guarantee of providing jobs to two crore youth annually since 2014. He urged the public to question the BJP's representatives about this guarantee. Shri Lal Singh Jhala, the Secretary of the Pradesh Congress Committee, said that Ashok Gehlot's government had improved the lives of villagers and the poor through various schemes. However, as soon as the BJP government led by Bhaironlal came to power in Rajasthan, all welfare schemes were discontinued. 

The meeting was attended by a large number of party workers at the Mandal level, including Abhimanyu Singh Jhala, Gaurav Pratap Singh, Block Congress President Ram Singh Chadana, Rural District Vice President Narayan Paliwal, former Sarpanch Tulsi Meghwal, Nathulal Meghwal, Cooperative Society President Harisingh Jhala, Prahlad Singh Jhala, former District Council member Nathulal Meghwal, Tejasingh Charan, OBC Block President Bherulal Suthar, former Sarpanch Karansingh Jhala, Deputy Sarpanch Lal Krishna Soni, District President of the Karani Army Jivansingh Devda, Scheduled Caste Block President Bhawarlal Gameti, Amararam Gameti, Mandal President Fatahsingh Jhala, Kishansingh Chadana, Hirsingh Madercha, Lamps President Girvar Chhedri, Fatahlal Chadana, Bheekhchand Kukda Kheda, Sarpanch Babulal of Paddlo Ka Chora, Lamps President Chensingh Bhadwighuda, Cooperative Society President Rameshwar Chhedri, former Sarpanch Prabhulal Meghwal, Babusingh Devda, Fatahlal Chhedri, Ramchandra Chhedri, among others.

Prior to this, Shri Meena visited the Hanuman temple on the bypass in Gogunda and paid obeisance. After that, he reached the Rajtilak Sthal of Maharana Pratap and offered floral tributes to the statues of Maharana Pratap and Bhilu Rana.
