District Collector Embarks on City Tour on Foot

Udaipur,  District Collector Mr. Arvind Poswal once again took to the city streets on Friday. Accompanied by municipal officials, the Collector surveyed routes from Shaktinagar Bottleneck to Dhannmandi via Dehaligate, up to the Asthal Temple.

The District Collector first arrived at Shaktinagar Bottleneck. A plan is in place to widen the road here by removing the bottleneck and directly connecting Shaktinagar to Surajpol Road. This will alleviate traffic pressure on the Town Hall Square and provide significant relief to the city dwellers. Buildings along the route have been marked, and discussions were held with the owners to gain consent for opening the bottleneck.

Subsequently, accompanied by officials, the Collector proceeded towards Dhannmandi via Dehaligate. He inspected a shop that was recently damaged in a fire incident. Then, on foot, he reached the Asthal Temple. Recently, encroachments were cleared along this route, which the Collector also observed. Municipal Commissioner Ramprakash, Additional Chief Engineer Mukesh Pujari, Deputy Commissioner Sirajuddin, and other officials were present during the inspection.
