SC-ST Association Holds Detailed Discussion with GM Shobhana Bandopadhyay

The All India SC-ST Railway Employees Association, under the leadership of Divisional Secretary Abhay Singh Meena, held a meeting with General Manager Shobhana Bandopadhyay during her visit to the Kota Division. The meeting focused on presenting a 12-point charter of demands and engaging in detailed discussions on various issues.

The demands included granting facilities to the association under the PREM group, providing furniture to the association's divisional office and all 18 branches, expediting the recruitment process for JE (Railway Track), issuing NOCs to spouses in the Assistant Loco Pilot post, establishing offices for the association in Ramganj Mandi and Bundi branches, increasing bicycle allowances for track maintenance staff, restructuring departments for female track maintainers, ensuring promotion benefits for ticket checking staff within their respective categories, adopting uniform policies for inter-divisional transfers to prevent caste-based discrimination, improving working conditions for running staff, and providing adequate facilities.

Apart from the General Manager, the meeting was attended by Divisional Railway Manager Manish Tiwari, Additional Divisional Railway Manager R.R. Singh, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Suprakash, Divisional President Nem Singh, and Executive Members Bhimsingh Meena, Dulichand, O.P. Singh, and Ramdas Ratnakar.
