Book 'Bandi – The Caretaker' Launched in Mumbai

Mumbai – The launch of the novel 'Bandi – The Caretaker', published by SGSH Publications (Mumbai), was held in a grand ceremony at Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari, Goregaon. The event was graced by renowned film personality Chandrashekhar Pusalkar, with notable presence of film producer Lalit Arya and senior film journalist Kali Das Pandey.

The author of the novel, Kafeelur Rahman, a senior advocate from Ranchi (Jharkhand), has previously written the acclaimed book 'Ardhnari – The Pain of Trans Women'. In Bandi, he artistically explores the emotional turmoil of a husband wandering in search of an ideal, cultured wife and the upheaval in his life after the arrival of a bonded maid (Bandi). The novel is rich in romance, thrill, suspense, and emotional depth, making it a gripping page-turner.

According to the author, an official announcement for a feature film adaptation of the novel will be made soon.
