PM Modi recalls the deep connection of voters with Pushkar and lotus

Marudhara Rajasthan is witnessing intensified campaigning and rhetoric from leaders of both the BJP and Congress due to the Lok Sabha elections. After relentless tours and statements by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and top BJP leaders in the state to boost party propaganda for the first and second phases of the 18th Lok Sabha elections, now Congress parliamentary party leader Sonia Gandhi, National President Mallikarjun Kharge, and Mahasachiv Priyanka Gandhi have also jumped into the political arena of Rajasthan. In the coming days, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi is also scheduled to visit Rajasthan. Along with this, electoral heat is rising to its peak in Rajasthan.

On Saturday, on the occasion of the foundation day of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reminded voters of the sacred city of Pushkar in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan and evoked memories of the deep bond with the BJP's election symbol, the lotus. According to mythology, once Lord Brahma contemplated performing a yajna on Earth and to choose the location, he sent a lotus flower to Earth. Wherever Brahma's lotus fell, that place was chosen for the yajna, and that place became the Pushkar pilgrimage site. A pond was also formed where the flower fell. Pushkar is the only place in the world where worship of Lord Brahma takes place.

In the grand assembly of Pushkar, Prime Minister Modi launched a vigorous attack on Congress and the Indian National Congress Alliance in various styles and said that those who indulge in corruption and help corrupt individuals, and those who try to save them, will face stricter action and will be held accountable. Modi also talked about the initiatives taken by the NDA government to empower women and ensure their well-being. He also praised Jyoti Mirdha, who is contesting elections on BJP's ticket from Nagaur, calling her like his younger sister.

Asserting with confidence, Modi said, "The third term of my government is not far away. We are going to take even tougher steps against corruption and corrupt people in the first 100 days of our government coming to power. I am fully prepared for it." He said that the actions taken so far were just a trailer; the full movie is yet to come. He criticized the Congress party's manifesto, calling it a declaration to break the country and likening it to the thinking and ideology of the Muslim League before independence.

Modi, in an attacking tone, said, "The announcement made by the Congress is a declaration that exposes the Congress. The Congress has neither principles nor policies left. Modi's guarantee, a term used by Congress, has also been stolen from them." He emphasized that Rajasthan is the land of brave warriors. The mothers of Ajmer and Nagaur have given many brave sons to the country. Earlier, only sons could go to the army, but not daughters. But now, Modi has opened that door as well. Women are leading major projects in ISRO, and flying large aircraft in the country. Congress has never cared about women empowerment, while the BJP government has built 12 crore toilets. Connections have been provided to 10 crore families under the Ujjwala scheme. Rs. 15,000 crore have been directly sent to the accounts of pregnant women. Millions of sisters didn't even have a bank account. They had to keep their savings in grain containers. Our government has opened accounts for women. Accounts of more than 25 crore sisters have been opened. We have made one crore sisters lakhpati didis. Now, the target is to make three crore lakhpati didis. Earlier, there was a severe water crisis in Gujarat-Rajasthan. We have worked to resolve this crisis. Our government has provided water through pipelines to 11 crore families.

Meanwhile, Congress stalwart leaders have also plunged into the electoral battle to win the Lok Sabha elections. Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi, along with other senior Congress leaders, kicked off the election campaign in the capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur, on Saturday at the Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium, sounding the bugle for the state's electoral battle. Addressing this first Congress rally, Sonia Gandhi launched a fierce attack on PM Modi, saying that no one is above the country, but Modi considers himself great. He is conspiring to change the democratic boundaries and amend the constitution. For the last ten years, there has been a government that has only increased unemployment and economic crisis. This country is not the estate of a few people. Our ancestors have nurtured it with their blood. Party President Kharge and Priyanka Gandhi also fiercely criticized the Modi government. Kharge even called Modi the leader of lies. He said that Modi's guarantee to provide employment to youth and double the income of farmers turned out to be false. Modi only deceives. This time, he has brought a new song and drama. Modi's guarantee. This term has also been stolen from Congress. The rally was also addressed by former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Pradesh Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra, and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot.

For the 25 seats of Lok Sabha in Rajasthan, elections for 12 seats in the first phase are scheduled for April 19 and elections for the remaining 13 seats in the second phase will be completed on April 26. In such a scenario, in the coming days, the heat of election campaigning in Rajasthan is going to rise to its peak, with the tours of central and state leaders reaching their climax.
