Udaipur, The Lake City Senior Citizen Club ‘Mewar’ organized an enlightening Medico Seminar at a private resort located in Badi Tiger Hills, Udaipur. The session aimed to raise health awareness among senior citizens and was held in a warm and engaging environment.
The event was graced by Dr. J.P. Sharma from J.P. Sharma Orthopedic Hospital as the Chief Guest, while Club President Laxmikant Joshi presided over the seminar. The special guests were club patrons K.K. Sharma and Krishnakant Sharma.
During the seminar, Dr. J.P. Sharma delivered a comprehensive talk focusing on the health precautions senior citizens must adopt, especially regarding dietary habits and common age-related orthopedic issues. He emphasized knee care in men and addressed challenges faced by women who stand for extended periods while working. He also provided practical solutions and guidance, patiently answering questions posed by attendees.
The club members participated with great enthusiasm, relishing the session and humming nostalgic melodies that added to the atmosphere. The arrival of a light evening drizzle further uplifted the mood, making the event even more enjoyable.
Prominent members including Advocate Shyam Sundar Sharma, Pt. Rajeev Joshi, Satish Joshi, Dr. S.L. Menaria, Mrs. Kusum Sharma, Mrs. Chanda Audichya, Mrs. Geeta Sukhwal, Mrs. Meena Sharma, and Mrs. Chandra Ameta also shared their thoughts during the gathering.
