Udaipur's children's boom in international dance program

In a grand display of cultural excellence, children from Udaipur captivated audiences at the five-day International Cultural Harmony program held at Shimla Kalibari. The event was organized by Nrutyadham Kala Samiti under the aegis of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

Among the standout performers was young dancer Diyara Juneja from Udaipur’s Sur Sangam Sansthan, who mesmerized the audience with her fire-infused Chari dance. Her daring and graceful performance, involving multiple fire-lit pots, earned her thunderous applause and ultimately secured her the first prize in the solo category.

In the group dance segment (Laghu Samuh Nritya), Diyara, along with co-performers Khwahish, Ivanka, Aanvi, and Venisha, delivered a synchronized and vibrant performance that also bagged the first position for their group.

The performances not only showcased their immense talent but also brought laurels to Udaipur on an international stage. In recognition of their success and guidance behind the scenes, their dance mentor Guru Renu Gorer was also felicitated during the event.

The outstanding achievements of these young artists have made the city of Udaipur proud and reflect the city's growing cultural footprint on global platforms.
