"####One Health" Awareness Rally Organized at Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital 🩺🌍

Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) successfully organized an awareness rally on the concept of “One Health”, under the aegis of the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine and in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

The theme of the initiative was “One World, One Health – United for the Well-being of Humans, Animals, and the Environment.”

The rally was flagged off by GMCH Dean Dr. Sangeeta Gupta, and was organized under the guidance of Dr. Mukul Dixit, Head of the Department of Community Medicine, with coordination by Dr. Anshika Jain, College Nodal Officer.

Faculty members including Dr. Hemlata Mittal, Dr. Anjana Verma, Dr. Medha Mathur, Dr. Bhagiraj Chaudhary, Dr. D.R. Beniwal, Dr. Amit Kumar, Dr. Suresh Kumar, Dr. Abhishek Kumar, Dr. Prakhar, Dr. Vichitra, Dr. Harleen, Dr. Dilshano, Dr. Monica, Dr. Chinmay, Dr. Anuradha, and Dr. Poornima, along with MBBS students and interns, participated with great enthusiasm.

Starting from the main gate of GMCH, the rally passed through major city routes, attracting significant public attention. Its purpose was to educate the community on the holistic vision of One Health, emphasizing the interconnection between human, animal, and environmental well-being.

Throughout the route, the participants raised inspiring slogans such as:
📢 “One Earth, One Health”
📢 “Healthy People, Healthy Planet”
📢 “When Health is Unified, Life is Dignified”

These messages urged citizens to adopt sustainable practices that safeguard both human and environmental health, reinforcing the spirit of a healthier and more harmonious world. 🌿🤝
