Dr. Ajeet Kumar Karnatak Announces Approval of DA

a protest was organized by the Pensioners Welfare Society in the premises of MPUAT at 11 o'clock in the morning. Nearly 200 pensioners participated in this demonstration to address the ongoing issues faced by pensioners and to demand the implementation of recently announced Dearness Allowance (DA) orders by the government. 

During the gathering, Dr. Surendra Bhatnagar, former Vice-Chancellor Dr. Umashankar Sharma, Dr. Subhash Bhargav, Dr. G.S. Ameta, Dr. Indrajit Mathur, Dr. P.C. Kanthalia, Dr. Jagdish Chaudhary, Shri R.K. Rajput, and Shri Rameshwar Sharma addressed the attendees. They appealed to Dr. Ajeet Kumar Karnatak, the Vice-Chancellor, to hold positive discussions with the Finance Controller and resolve all issues promptly. They also urged for the immediate issuance of the DA orders by the state government at the university level.

Upon the request of the pensioners' representatives, including Dr. Surendra Bhatnagar, Dr. Umashankar Sharma, Dr. Indrajit Mathur, Dr. Jagdish Chaudhary, and Shri R.K. Rajput, Dr. Ajeet Kumar Karnatak assured them of initiating discussions and promptly issuing the DA orders. A delegation from the Pensioners Welfare Society, comprising Dr. Surendra Bhatnagar, Dr. Umashankar Sharma, Dr. Indrajit Mathur, Dr. Jagdish Chaudhary, and Shri R.K. Rajput, presented their grievances in detail and requested the immediate issuance of both DA orders.

Before departing, the Vice-Chancellor assured everyone that the orders would be issued upon government approval. However, in case of delayed response from the government, the orders would be issued on March 30. Following this assurance, the participants expressed their gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor and announced the conclusion of the protest.
