Udaipur, the city of lakes, has brought pride to Rajasthan’s cooperative sector at the national level, as The Udaipur Mahila Samriddhi Urban Co-operative Bank Limited received two prestigious awards in the cooperative domain across India.
Bank Chairperson Dr. Kiran Jain informed that the National Cooperative Convention was held on May 23 at The Lalit Hotel, Mumbai, organized by BOTB Mumbai, a reputed national institution in cooperation, IT, and banking. Cooperative banks from all over the country participated in the event.
Bank CEO Mr. Vinod Chaplot shared that based on the progress report of banks for the year 2024-25, the chief guests Mr. Sumanesh Joshi, Joint Secretary, IT Communication Ministry, Government of India, and Mr. Prabhat Chaturvedi, CEO of National Urban Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation, honored Mahila Samriddhi Bank’s IT Head Mr. Nipun Chittoda with the prestigious Bharat Ratna Cooperative Award for Best IT Head. Additionally, the bank was awarded the Bharat Ratna Cooperative Award for Best Women’s Urban Co-operative Bank for its overall performance.
Mr. Chaplot also mentioned that Dr. Kiran Jain (Chairperson), Mrs. Vimla Moonda (Vice Chairperson), and IT Head Mr. Nipun Chittoda represented Mahila Samriddhi Bank at the convention.
