IDFC First Bank has been authorized by the Government of India (GoI) and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to collect direct taxes on behalf of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT).
With this authorization, the bank has announced its integration with the Income Tax portal, enabling customers to pay their direct taxes easily and conveniently. This includes facilities such as downloadable challans, seamless payments, and instant payment confirmations.
Payment Options
Customers can make direct tax payments through IDFC First Bank's user-friendly retail and corporate internet banking platforms or by visiting any branch to pay via cash, cheque, or demand draft.
