Bhilwara : Media spokesperson Satyam Sharma revealed that recently elected Bhilwara MLA Ashok Kothari engaged in a cordial discussion with Traffic Police Deputy Commissioner Ritesh Kumawat on Wednesday. The meeting took place at the Kanchipuram Complex, located on the Basant Vihar Road, where the MLA's office is situated. The representative team accompanying the MLA deliberated on enhancing traffic management with the Deputy Commissioner.
Among the key topics discussed was the issue of parking at the railway station to the court, emphasizing the need for traffic personnel to remain vigilant during railway gate closures to prevent traffic jams. The meeting also touched upon improving the organization of the Ajad Chowk market and ensuring a smoother flow of traffic from the Roadways bus stand to the Seetaram Ji Ki Bavdi building.
A particular concern addressed was the rash driving of Roadways buses on Nehru Road, causing frequent traffic congestion. The MLA proposed redirecting buses traveling to Kota from the Roadways bus stand to Sangener Gate Road, a suggestion aimed at alleviating traffic issues.
The discussion also extended to addressing traffic congestion around the agricultural market due to unauthorized encroachments on the road. The MLA suggested implementing temporary barricades at the Ajmer Chowk and streamlining the system from the railway gate to Maharana Talkies, specifically addressing the irregularities in tempo drivers' behavior.
Deputy Commissioner Ritesh Kumawat assured that plans would be devised promptly in collaboration with relevant authorities, and a joint meeting would be convened to actively work towards enhancing traffic management and providing relief to the general public.
Notable attendees at the occasion included former BJP District President Advocate Ladu Lal Teli, former Publicity Incharge Abhijit Sarada, former District Secretary Babulal Tank, Social Media District Coordinator Dinesh Suthar, social worker Devendra Kumawat, Sunil Jagetiya, among others.
