Banswara : On the occasion of World Red Cross Day, the Indian Red Cross Society Banswara branch organized a meaningful event titled "Seva Samvad" to promote the theme “Keeping Humanity Alive”. The program began with a warm welcome by Treasurer Shailendra Saraf, who outlined the society’s ongoing work in blood donation, body donation, and health awareness.
Chairman Dr. Munawwar Hussain paid tribute to Henry Dunant, the founder of the Red Cross, and reflected on his legacy of humanitarian service even during times of war. Dr. Hussain emphasized that every action of the Red Cross is aimed at alleviating human suffering and keeping the spirit of compassion alive.
Active women's wing member Prerna Upadhyay reviewed the contributions of female members in health camps, sanitation drives, and social awareness programs. The program was attended by members including Amit Shah, Suraj Rathore, Yash Saraf, Ruchita Choudhary, Himanshu Tabiyar, Pushpa Sharma, and Alka Labana, among others.
All participants pledged to extend Red Cross services to every corner of the Banswara district. The session concluded with a group discussion on future plans, reaffirming their commitment to service, empathy, and dedication.
