Udaipur:The Field Club Cricket Carnival 2025 Season-4 is inching closer to a thrilling conclusion as intense semi-final matches unfolded on the sixth day of the tournament.
In the 50+ age category, Lightning Legends defeated Srijan The Spark Gold by 25 runs in the first semi-final. Batting first after winning the toss, Lightning Legends posted a commanding score of 92 in 6 overs, thanks to unbeaten knocks by Ranji player Suryaveer Singh Boheda (31 runs), Kushal Jain (30 runs), and state-level player Jitendra Nair (22 runs). In response, Srijan The Spark Gold managed only 67 runs, with Narendra Sharma contributing a solid 45. Kushal Jain was named Man of the Match for his explosive batting.
In the under-40 category, Boundary Bashers outplayed Power Play by 6 wickets in the second semi-final. After choosing to bat, Power Play put up 87 runs in their 6 overs, with valuable contributions from Kunal Mehta (29), Kanishka Suhalka (23),* and Siddhant Parihar (18)**. Boundary Bashers chased down the target in just 4.4 overs, led by a blistering 59 by Harish Singh Nayak, who was also awarded Man of the Match. Meet Lalwani supported with an unbeaten 23.
The toss for this match was conducted by industrialist Satyendra Pal Singh, Tinku Chhabra, Ajay Singh Shaktawat, Vivek Jain, Deepak Sharma, Field Club Secretary Umesh Manwani, Treasurer Gaurav Singhvi, and Joint Secretaries Pankaj Kaneria and Amit Kothari.
Another exciting match in the under-40 category saw 22 Yards triumph over Iconic 7. Iconic 7 batted first and scored 100 runs in 6 overs, with standout performances by Adarsh Kataria (46) and Dev Chordia (42). Nishant Kachhawa picked two wickets. 22 Yards chased the total in just 4.2 overs, led by Jagrut Talreja (41) and Vaibhav Godawat (32). Talreja's innings earned him the Man of the Match title.
