Pacific University to Host National Level Digital and Analytics Conclave

Pacific University is set to organize the Digital and Analytics Conclave-2024 with the aim of fostering the development of advanced technical skills among students. According to Professor B.P. Sharma, Group President of the Pacific Group of Universities, this unique conclave is a convergence of digital technology, analytics, and automation technology. Over 70 higher education institutions, including 20 universities from across the country, will participate in the two-day event scheduled for February 23-24.

Dean of P.G. Studies, Professor Hemant Kothari, highlighted that the conclave will feature a hackathon, challenging participants to solve complex coding problems. Additionally, an ideathon will provide students with the opportunity to present their startup ideas, business plans, or innovative products. The Business Storytelling competition will creatively showcase the struggles and success stories of entrepreneurs, startups, and unicorns.

Professor K.K. Dave, President of Pacific University, mentioned that the conclave will also host online competitions such as Datathon, Data Metrics, and Data Analytics Championship to assess students' analytical capabilities. A debate competition on the growing digitization and technological opportunities will be held, along with a quiz focusing on various business concepts, current events, and digital technology knowledge.

Convenor Dr. Dipin Mathur stated that a Digital Olympiad will be organized to assess the levels of digital literacy and awareness. Students from across the country will participate online, contributing to the evaluation of digital skills and awareness. Poster making and project report presentation competitions will also be part of the conclave.

The event aims to provide a platform for students to enhance their technical and analytical skills, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
