A Humble Tribute to the Poet B.A. Mayukh at Public Mandal Library

Kota,A heartfelt literary tribute was paid to the eminent poet and sensitive writer Bashir Ahmad Mayukh at the Government Public Mandal Library, where the atmosphere was soaked in emotion and reverence. In a setting filled with moist eyes, resonating words, and echoing silence, the literary fraternity of Kota united to remember a soul who gave voice to the human spirit through verse.

The gathering was graced by many notable figures of Kota’s literary world including Jitendra Nirmohi, Dr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Murlidhar Gaur, Vijay Sharma, Vijay Maheshwari, Ramgopal Gautam, Babu Banjara, Prof. K.B. Bhartiya, Prem Shastri, Rekha Pancholi, Shyama Sharma, Dr. Shashi Jain, Anuradha Sharma, Shweta Sharma, Nahush Vyas, Narendra Sharma Advocate, Bigul Jain, Aleem Aina, Badri Lal Divya, Dr. Ghyas Faiz, Mahendra Sharma, and Chand Sheri.

Dr. Deepak Srivastava, library president and a passionate literary figure, said in his address, “Mayukh Sahab was not merely a poet—he was a warrior of words. His poetry resonated with sensitivity and truth, touching the soul with every line. His passing marks not just the loss of a person, but the pause of a creative consciousness.”

Remembering his poetic journey, Jitendra Nirmohi remarked, “Mayukh’s poems were the heartbeat of society. He lived every sorrow and poured every emotion into verse. He stood among the most distinguished poets of spirituality and philosophy.”

The tribute gathering became not just a moment of remembrance, but also a celebration of literary heritage. Mayukh’s memory, his writing, and his affectionate presence will forever live in the literary soul of Kota. Though he has departed, his words remain immortal.

Poet Chand Sheri reflected on Mayukh’s persona, saying, “Mayukh Ji was an international poet of goodwill. He always lit lamps of love and nationhood and inspired us to move forward with compassion and courage.”
