Tamanna Elected President, Vaishali as Secretary, Manisha as Treasurer

Udaipur – The oath-taking ceremony of India’s first active women’s camera club, ‘Monalisa Camera Club, Udaipur’, was organized today at the banquet hall of Hotel Paras Mahal, Sector-11.

In the presence of over 40 members, Tamanna Suhalka was appointed as President, Vaishali Motwani as Secretary, and Manisha Jain as Treasurer of the newly formed executive committee.

Chief Guest DYSP Rajendra Singh Jain, Special Guest Retired RAS Officer, Amateur Photographer and Artist Dinesh Kothari, Lake City Camera Club Coordinator Khushwant Sardalia, and Entrepreneur Mukesh Madhvani administered the oath to the newly appointed office bearers.

In his address, Rajendra Jain emphasized the importance of photography and stated that women are advancing in every field. He expressed confidence that the club would serve as a strong platform for their confidence and expression.

Dinesh Kothari appreciated the initiative, calling it an inspiring step towards women empowerment and creativity. Khushwant Sardalia assured the members of technical guidance and training, while Mukesh Madhvani offered support in organizing photo exhibitions for women photographers.

An on-spot mobile photography competition was also held during the event, in which Anita Singhi, Sangeeta Jawaria, and Deepti Ganna were awarded.

Club patrons Deepa Sabala, Anupama Lodha, and Sadhna Talesra welcomed new members – Laveena, Radhika, Poonam, Maya, Megha, Smita, Leena, and Bindu. Guests were also presented with saplings as mementos.

The event was graced by Club Mentor Rakesh Sharma 'Rajdeep', Dheeraj Bilochi from Rama Studio, along with many budding photographers and art enthusiasts.
