DPS Udaipur Student Chinmay Represents Rajasthan in NDA

Udaipur - Chinmay Choudhary, a student of the Science stream at Delhi Public School, Udaipur, session 2021-22, has been selected for the National Defence Academy (NDA). Chinmay secured an All India Rank of 82 in the NDA's 152nd course, bringing pride to his school.

Chinmay is set to join the Indian Army as a Lieutenant. The NDA selection process, conducted by the UPSC, involves a written exam followed by comprehensive interviews covering various aspects such as general aptitude, psychological testing, team skills, and physical and social abilities. Approximately 300,000 applicants appear for each written exam, with around 10,000 candidates invited for interviews. Those selected for the pilot program undergo pilot aptitude and battery tests. Each semester, approximately 300-350 cadets are admitted, with around 40 cadets accepted for the Air Force, 50 for the Navy, and the remainder for the Army.

Cadets admitted and successfully completing the program are commissioned as officers in their respective services. Principal Sanjay Narwaria highlighted Chinmay's exceptional academic and extracurricular achievements, commending his parents for their support. Prof. Vice Chairman Govind Agrawal praised the school for elevating Chinmay, bringing honor to Udaipur and Rajasthan.
