Udaipur — Shri Eklignath National Seva Sansthan, Udaipur, will organize its second all-community, dowry-free and free-of-cost mass wedding ceremony along with Tulsi Vivah on January 23, 2026, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami. The organization aims to solemnize the marriages of 51 financially weaker couples, promoting social equality and cultural values.
Founder President Aakash Bagdi and National General Secretary Advocate Nirmal Kumar Pandit shared the details during a press conference held on Monday. Bagdi stated that this year’s event will introduce several new features. The ceremony will be held at Satyam Garden, Mahasatiya Road, Ayad. The wedding procession, featuring all brides and grooms, will commence around 4 PM from Bohra Ganeshji Temple and proceed through St. Teresa School, University Road, Bekni Pulia, and Ayad Main Road before reaching the venue. After performing the Toran rituals, the marriage ceremonies will begin.
So far, 11 couples have registered, and special arrangements will be made for outstation participants, including one-day accommodation provided by the organization.
₹1 Lakh FD and ₹40 Lakh Insurance for Each Bride
Bagdi announced that each bride will receive a Fixed Deposit of ₹1 lakh in her name, with her husband listed as the nominee. Additionally, insurance coverage worth ₹40 lakh will be arranged to secure their future.
20-Year Agreement for Marital Harmony
Advocate Pandit explained that every couple will sign a 20-year agreement ensuring that in case of disputes, they will first approach the organization for mediation instead of directly going to the police or court. If no resolution is achieved, they will be free to take further action independently.
Training Programs Empowering Women
Bagdi also shared that the organization has launched the third batch of its women’s training camp, inaugurated on November 1 at the new center. This batch has witnessed enthusiastic participation from both girls and women, with around 250 participants receiving training in tailoring and beauty parlour skills. Additionally, the organization will soon offer free computer courses, GNM, and lab technician training for women to enhance their employment opportunities.
