Udaipur – A grand evening of devotion titled "Ek Shaam Eedana Mata Ke Naam" and the eighth Patotsav celebration was organized with great fervor by Shree Eedana Mata Ji Dham Seva Samiti, Manoharpura-Badgaon at the Mata Rani Dham, Shiv Colony, Badgaon-Manoharpura. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from devotees who danced and rejoiced to melodious bhajans sung in praise of Eedana Mata Ji.
The bhajan sandhya was organized under the blessings of Brahmaleen Santoshnath Maharaj, commemorating the completion of eight glorious years of Shree Eedana Rani Dham. The spiritual gathering was graced by saints including Santoshnath, Yogi Siddhnath Maharaj, Mahant Manohar Girdharidas Maharaj, Yogi Dariyav Nath Maharaj (Noli), and Mahant Rajpuri Maharaj (Kabootar Wale).
Devotees were enthralled by the divine and magnificent adornment (shringar) of Eedana Mata Ji. The entire venue resonated with chants and slogans of praise. Prior to the main event, a Kalash Yatra with 101 decorated pots was taken out, led by women draped in vibrant chunris, accompanied by traditional bands. The worship of nine young girls as representations of the goddess was also conducted with reverence. A Navchandi Yagya was performed, where offerings (ahutis) were made by priests and yajmaans with prayers for peace and prosperity in the nation. The event also included fragrant ittar and flower showers, followed by a grand maha aarti.
Highlighting the evening was a soul-stirring bhajan sandhya where Suresh Gehlot, known as the emperor of Sanatan Dharm suron, performed powerful renditions like "Kanku Kesar Ra Paglya Mandinya, Aanganiye Mhari Eedana", and "Mharo Hello Suni Ne Bega Aavjo Maa". Bhaumik Suthar mesmerized the audience with bhajans like "Duniya Mein To Danka Baje Mhari Maa Kai Keva Eedana Rani Ro", and "Tharo Saj Dhaj Darbaar Sajva Patotsav Aave...". Trisha Suthar and Bhagwat Suthar added to the devotional fervor with their melodious voices, prompting men and women alike to dance joyfully.
