Shalini Gautam Reappointed as District President of Women’s Congress, Kota City


Kota, Shalini Gautam has been reappointed as the District President of Women’s Congress, Kota City, as per the newly announced executive committee list by Rajasthan Pradesh Mahila Congress.

Expressing her gratitude, Gautam thanked All India Mahila Congress National President Alka Lamba, Rajasthan Pradesh Congress General Secretary Rakhi Gautam, and Rajasthan Women’s Congress President Sarika Singh. She said that this responsibility entrusted to her again is not only an honor but also increases her accountability towards the organization. She assured that she has always carried out all assigned duties with dedication, sincerity, and zeal, and she will continue to do so in the future.

Gautam was first appointed to this position on October 20, 2023. Owing to her capable leadership, organizational firmness, and continuous active involvement, the state leadership has entrusted her with this responsibility once again.

On this occasion, hundreds of Women’s Congress workers and Congress supporters gathered at her residence to warmly welcome her with drums, garlands, and fireworks. They congratulated her by distributing sweets and wished her success for the upcoming tenure.

The Navdurga Mahila Mandal and Kamnapurna Ganesh Mahila Mandal welcomed her at the Kamnapurna Ganesh Temple premises in Mahavir Nagar Extension Scheme with garlands, traditional turbans (safas), sweets, and drum beats. Prominent women workers including Kamlesh Kumari, Lad Kanwar Gochar, Dr. Gurinder Kaur Ambalvi, Anjana Gautam, Asha, Vidyavati, Lata Vanvani, Santosh Devi, Sheela Gautam, and Sangita Santvani were present.

Ashish Gurjar, State Coordinator of Youth Congress, along with Youth Congress workers, and Niranjan Meghani, President of Sindhi Samaj Kota South, welcomed her by garlanding and tying a safa.

Shalini Gautam is also currently a councilor from Ward 65 of Nagar Nigam Kota South. She has been actively involved in social service, women empowerment, and organizational development for a long time.
