The event was chaired by Sanjay Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Education, Government of India, who emphasized the need for value-based, skill-oriented, and environmentally conscious education.

Referring to India’s ancient traditions, he highlighted that ecological balance and respect for all forms of life have always been integral to Indian philosophy. He called for a balanced dialogue between environment, society, and economy, emphasizing organic farming, green energy, and environmental preservation as the true foundations of development.

Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevlramani described Earth as our mother and urged everyone to protect the five natural elements with dedication. Inderjeet Singh Matharu, Chairman, EAC (Ministry of Environment), and noted industrialist Arvind Singhal also shared their perspectives.
