Dr. Tanmay Patel and Dr. Aneri Damani Secure First Place in Inter-College De-addiction Quiz Competition

Udaipur — As part of the Fifth Anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (Drug-Free India Campaign) initiated by the Government of India, a series of awareness programs were organized at Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital.

Head of the Department of Psychiatry, Dr. Jitendra Jinagar, informed that the celebrations began on October 27 with the formal inauguration and poster release by Mr. Ankit Agrawal, Executive Director of the Geetanjali Group.

The final event of the campaign, an Inter-College Postgraduate Quiz Competition, was held on October 31, where Dr. Tanmay Patel and Dr. Aneri Damani from Geetanjali Medical College secured the first position, while Dr. Divya and Dr. Neelanka from PIMS won the second position.

During the closing ceremony, winners of the Poster Competition held on October 29 were felicitated — Elin Benny won the first prize, followed by Varsha Rajput as runner-up and Pratik Darji in third place.

In the Nukkad Natak (street play) competition conducted on October 30, the Nursing College team bagged the first position, and the Psychology Department team secured the second.

The entire event was coordinated by the Psychiatry Department team comprising Dr. Manu Sharma, Dr. Dheeraj Goya, Dr. Gaurav Purohit, and Dr. Rajeev Ranjan.
