Sacred Haldighati Soil Welcomes Tourists on Maharana Pratap’s 485th Birth Anniversary

On the occasion of the 485th birth anniversary of Mewar’s brave warrior Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap, a seven-day celebration was organized by Bharat Swabhiman Nyas and Patanjali Yoga Samiti Udaipur family. Today, at the City Railway Station, the statue of Maharana Pratap was ceremoniously anointed with water, marked with tilak using the sacred soil from Haldighati, and garlanded with flowers.

Tourists were welcomed by applying tilak with the holy soil of Haldighati and showering them with flower petals. Mohan Singh Shaktawat, District In-charge of Bharat Swabhiman Nyas and Patanjali Yoga Samiti, explained that the soil of Haldighati symbolizes valor and struggle. It reminds everyone of the great battle fought between Maharana Pratap and the Mughal army at Haldighati.

Following the ceremony, yoga masters including Preetam Singh Chundawat, Puran Singh Rathore, and Yogi Ashok Jain performed various yogic asanas to pay respectful tribute to Maharana Pratap with loud cheers.

The event also witnessed the dignified presence of notable personalities such as Chandraveer Singh Karelia, President of Mewar Kshatriya Mahasabha; Kamalendra Singh Panwar, founder of Bajrang Sena; Karni Sena members; and yogis like Ranveer Singh, Naresh Paliwal, Manohar Singh, Ganesh Patel, Vimla, Suresh Singh, and Kailash Sharma.
