Jaipur: Reliance Jio has once again delivered a strong performance in Rajasthan. As of April 30, 2025, Jio's subscriber base in the state has reached 2.65 crore, securing its position as the number one telecom operator. According to the latest report released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Jio added 1.43 lakh new subscribers in April, outperforming all other telecom operators in the state.
During the same period, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and BSNL lost 36,804, 50,461, and 8,234 subscribers, respectively. Rajasthan’s total wireless subscriber base increased by 48,142 in April, reaching 6.46 crore by the end of the month.
As per TRAI data, Jio leads the state with 2.65 crore subscribers, followed by Bharti Airtel with 2.33 crore, Vodafone Idea with 91.22 lakhs, and BSNL with 56.26 lakh. Jio is the only telecom operator providing 4G and 5G services across all districts of Rajasthan.
Jio has also maintained its dominance in the 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) or AirFiber segment. In April 2025, Jio AirFiber added 42,104 new users in this category, whereas Airtel could add only 9,364. Jio’s total 5G FWA subscriber base in Rajasthan now stands at 3.42 lakh, compared to Airtel’s 83,107. The total number of 5G FWA users in the state has crossed 4.25 lakh, with Jio holding over 80% market share in this segment.
