Rahul Sharma's LONG JOURNEY From BMM to Medical to Acting!

If you put your mind behind something you really want, you are going to get it sooner or later. That's the mantra upcoming star Rahul Sharma swears by for he really has worked hard to get where he is at!
Nursing interest in acting and modeling right from the raw age of 13, Rahul already started acting and modeling from Class 9 and 10. However, things took a turn when reality dawned that hailing from a typical Indian set up, the priorities in life had to be set towards studies. "I hail from Jaipur, Rajasthan and our realities are very different. I had to shoulder familial responsibilities and studying further was what was expected of me. So I took up BMM ( Bachelor in Mass Media )," recalls Rahul adding further, "I went to Kota for preparation of Medical then giving entrance exam for Medical College in Mumbai as well but thankfully the line I dreamed of opened its doors for me."
Having done 5 big music videos including one in which he played Krishna and countless fashions shows including one sponsored by Vogue, Rahul got his first break as a lead star in X Ray - the Inner Image and getting to this stage wasn't easy. "I had to really convince my parents to let me get into acting and at the same time tackle their 'log kya kahenge' fear," recalls Rahul while adding, "I didn't think about other people, my parents' approval is what mattered. It was hard convincing them but eventually they understood this is what I was meant to do."
XRay - The Inner Image is a thriller directed by Rajiv S Ruia . "Nothing comes easy in life, I've learnt that, and success tastes sweeter when there's hard work involved," says Rahul.
