Revolution in Dairy & Food Tech Possible Through PPP – Dr. Rajshree Gandhi

Udaipur: At the College of Dairy and Food Technology, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, renowned social worker and educationist Dr. Rajshree Gandhi addressed newly appointed faculty members during an orientation program. Speaking on the topic “Public-Private Partnership (PPP): Opportunities and Needs in Dairy and Food Technology,” she emphasized that PPP is not just a model, but a powerful bridge between education, technology, and society.

Dr. Gandhi explained that while educational institutions serve as research hubs, industries can channel these innovations to society. In sectors like dairy and food technology, the PPP model can boost innovation, ensure better pricing for farmers, and help faculty connect students with industry.

She urged educators to internalize the PPP spirit in their teaching, aligning academic efforts with social and industrial realities.

The program began with lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana. Dean Dr. Lokesh Gupta, who presided over the event, addressed the gathering and said PPP is a strategic tool for fostering collaboration, innovation, and technological advancement in the field.

A special attraction was the presentation of PPP-themed short videos and slogans. In the interactive session, newly appointed faculty asked insightful questions about various aspects of dairy and food technology, which Dr. Gandhi answered with clarity.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Principal Dr. Nikita Wadhawan.
