Rotary Udaipur Organizes Gratitude Ceremony

Udaipur, The #RotaryClubUdaipur hosted its #GratitudeCeremony for the year 2024-25 today at the #RotaryBajajBhavan. The chief guest for the event was former Deputy Mayor #ParasSinghvi. A total of 60 service associates were felicitated for their year-round contribution to the club's service initiatives.

While addressing the gathering, #ParasSinghvi emphasized that service to society doesn’t require a political platform—organizations like Rotary are already setting an example through meaningful contributions.

#AnilChhajed, President of Rotary Club Udaipur, shared an overview of the service activities carried out during the year. He informed that 49 new members were added to strengthen the club’s impact. A portion of the funds used for service activities was handed over to the #RotaryServiceTrust for future projects.

The 60 individuals recognized for their active support included #NirmalSinghvi, #DrNirmalKunawat, #AjayAgrawal, #AmbalalBohra, #DhruvChhajed, #MukeshChaudhary, #DPDhakad, #LaxmanSinghKarnawat, #PadamDugad, #SatishJain, #SurendraJain, #GajendraJodhawat, #TejSinghModi, #PanchamMehta, #UmeshNagori, #SajjanSeth, #OPSahlot, #GauravSinghvi, #NakshatraTalesara, #RameshSinghvi, #VivekVyas, #SangeetaChhajed, #RakeshMaheshwari, and #AnshulMogra, among others. They were felicitated with shawls and certificates by Paras Singhvi and Anil Chhajed.

The club also honoured its core office bearers including President #AnilChhajed, Secretary #BharatSaroopariya, and Treasurer #RakeshMaheshwari for their exemplary contributions. Former District Governor #NirmalSinghvi was specially honoured with a turban and certificate for his continued guidance.

On this occasion, #VipinKothari was inducted as a new member of the club by Nirmal Singhvi, further raising the total count of new members this year to 49—a record in the history of Rotary in India.

#MedicalEquipmentBankInaugurated

President Anil Chhajed announced the launch of the #RotaryMedicalEquipmentBank at Bajaj Bhavan, which was also inaugurated during the ceremony. Through this initiative, individuals can borrow medical equipment by depositing a refundable security amount. Once the equipment is returned, the deposit will be refunded. The bank will house all types of essential medical equipment for public use.

From July 1, #DeepakMehta will take over as the new President. On his first day, a special event will be held to honour Doctors and CA Members on the occasion of Doctors’ Day and CA Day at Rotary Bajaj Bhavan.

The program began with an invocational song by #PreetiAgrawal. The event was hosted by Anshul Mogra and Preeti Agrawal, with a vote of thanks delivered by Ajay Agrawal.
