Exhibition Commences at Jehangir Art Gallery Featuring Udaipur Artists Nirmal Yadav and Snehil Babel

Udaipur : The renowned artists Dr. Nirmal Yadav and Snehil Babel from Udaipur have inaugurated their art exhibition at Mumbai's prestigious Jehangir Art Gallery. This exhibition, part of the V6 group show, showcases the works of 40 paintings, including artists from Udaipur, Kolhapur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Banswara. The exhibition will run until December 25.

Dr. Manisha Sanchihar, the curator of the V6 group show, mentioned that the opening ceremony featured esteemed artists Madanlal from Chandigarh and Charan Sharma from Nathdwara as special guests. The event was also graced by Mumbai industrialist Viraj Didwania and London-based filmmaker Sameer Patel.

Artists like Prabhakar Patil, Manisha Patil, Nimisha Sharma, Prashant Vedak, Rajendra Patil, DS Pratap, Munir Kashmiri, Naresh Kumar, and Pune's Mansi Palashikar were among the attendees.

Dr. Manisha Sanchihar explained that the exhibition displays the palette of six renowned artists from different states, bringing together their diverse perspectives on a single platform. Nandkishor's vibrant colors in Kolhapur's Amurt paintings are juxtaposed with Snehil Babel's minimalistic use of black strokes, creating a foundation of void in his artworks from Udaipur.

She highlighted Eesha Bavishi from Ahmedabad, who has been working on a book series for the past four years, using sand to unearth historical heritage monuments. Similarly, Tasleem Jamal from Banswara showcases the tribal life of the Adivasi community, integrating the natural beauty of the region into her creations.

The subjects in Raju Batula's artwork from Hyderabad illustrate the interplay between religion and society. The curator expressed that each artist has made a unique contribution to the exhibition, offering a glimpse into their regional influences and inspirations.

In this exhibition, Nirmal Yadav from Udaipur has been a focal point, presenting artworks that serve as a visual journey into the infinite cosmos. His unique style, weaving the experiences of a special teacher and the thread, portrays the dynamic, restless universe. The interplay of threads in his creations breaks and connects, symbolizing the impact of threads on human life.

The exhibition by these talented artists promises to be a celebration of artistic diversity and expression, providing a captivating experience for art enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike. The display will be open until 7:00 PM on December 25.
