Kota District Legal Services Authority Initiates Tree Plantation Campaign

 

Kota, June. The District Legal Services Authority has initiated a dense tree plantation campaign in the months of June and July. Bhuvanesh Kumar Sharma, the Chief Trustee of Sumitra Devi Charitable Trust, informed that the trust will provide free saplings for plantation.

Yajnadatt Hada, the Program Coordinator and Deputy Chief Trustee stated that the additional District Judge and Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Praveen Kumar Verma, inaugurated the program. They planted saplings and emphasized the message of nature conservation. The program was attended by a panel of advocates, social workers, and the All India Media Association President, Kota Committee, Sunita Kanwar. Eco-friendly plant plants were also presented by the trust during the program.

ADJ Praveen Verma mentioned that this program takes place every year during the monsoon season from June to July. The current program has been organized at the request of Advocate Bhuvanesh Kumar Sharma, who is the Chief Trustee of Sumitra Devi Charitable Trust.

Chief Trustee Bhuvanesh Sharma stated that the trust had been committed to tree plantation and environmental conservation from its inception. We are dedicated to nature. The trust has pledged to plant a sapling on every individual's birthday. Anyone wishing to plant a sapling on their birthday can visit our trust campus and plant it. Alternatively, if desired, the trust members can visit their homes and plant the sapling without any charge. The trust campus offers various medicinal, fruit-bearing, and organic plants, distributed at different times throughout the year. More than one lakh saplings have been planted in the Hadoti region by the trust. As part of the trust's social contributions, various programs are being organized, including medicinal vaccination camps for children, encouragement programs on senior citizens' birthdays, empowerment events for women, as well as workshops and brainstorming sessions.
