National Award-Winning Gujarati Film 'Hellaro' Now in Hindi, Only on ShemarooMe

Hellaro is a bold portrayal of women’s courage, freedom, and the spirit of change. It holds the distinction of being the first Gujarati film to win the National Film Award for Best Feature Film. Remarkably, its 13 lead actresses were honored with the Special Jury Award, setting a new precedent in Indian cinema.

Set in the rugged landscape of Kutch, the film narrates the tale of women trapped in age-old traditions and restrictions. Their lives take a revolutionary turn with the arrival of a mysterious drummer in the desert. His rhythm stirs a silent rebellion, transforming their suppressed voices into a powerful roar for liberation.

Directed by Abhishek Shah, the film features stellar performances by Shraddha Dangar, Kaushambi Bhatt, Neelam Panchal, Brinda Trivedi, Tejal Panchasara, Shachi Joshi, Tarjanee Bhadla, Kishan Gadhvi, Maulik Nayak, Aarjav Trivedi, Rajan Thakar, and Jayesh More.
