Rajiv Arora, Chairman RSIC and REPC Invites Lithuanian Trade Delegate to 'Rajasthan International Expo' in Jodhpur

Jaipur : A 15-member trade delegation from Lithuania met on Sunday at the Udyog Bhawan in Jaipur with the Chairman RSIC and REPC, Mr. Rajiv Arora, members of REPC and FORTI for bilateral business and trade opportunities between the Lithuania and Rajasthan. On the occasion, Mr. Rajiv Arora urged the delegation that the Government of Rajasthan is going to organise The Rajasthan International Expo at Jodhpur and the Lithuanians should also visit the Expo which is going to be organised from 20th March to 22nd March 2023.

The Rajasthan Export Promotion Council (REPC) has been developing the business and Trade relations with the other Chambers of Commerce and Industries situated in abroad. In this series of efforts made by the Chairman of REPC Mr. Rajiv Arora accepted the request from the SCCIC Lithuania and fixed a meeting in the meeting Hall of Udyog Bhawan.

The FORTI has recently signed and MOU with the REPC to promote the exports of their member Industries.

The representatives of the Chamber submitted their presentation and explained the opportunities of trade and Commerce. A presentation was also made by the REPC and submitted the exports scenario of Rajasthan. Addressing the meeting of the delegation from Rajasthan and Lithuania  Mr. Rajiv Arora said that there are a lot of opportunities in the field of Information Technology, ITeS, Handicrafts, auto components, tourism etc. Mr. Arora added that Rajasthan is the Hub for the Handicrafts, furniture and auto components.

The representatives from the FORTI also expressed their business opportunities. It is to be submitted that this type of live interaction between the Industrial associations and Foreign Chambers representatives was organised at first time.

It was concluded that a business delegation should be sent to Lithuania to sign an MOU and to explore the export potentialities.
