Bhilwara: In a demonstration of compassion inspired by Jain Shwetambar Muni Siddharth Maharaj, women members associated with the Jain Cultural Forum fed cows with jaggery and fodder on Wednesday. The event took place at the Sri Mateshwari Gauseva cow shelter in Suwana.
Prior to feeding the cows, the women recited the Navkar Mantra, a significant Jain ritual. The initiative was led by the forum's coordinator, Saroj Chaplot, and witnessed the presence of several prominent women, including Neelam Dangi, National Treasurer Shalu Chaplot, President Vijay Lakshmi Hingad, Minister Asha Chaplot, Treasurer Khushboo Chaplot, Manju Chaplot, Sumitra Hingad, Paras Devi Hingad, Sheila Surana, Sonu Babel, and many others.
This act not only demonstrates the commitment of the Jain community to animal welfare but also showcases the empowerment of women in religious and social initiatives, fostering a sense of compassion and responsibility towards all living beings.
