From Mumbai to London, the Echo of Ghazals Resounded

An enthralling online mushaira was successfully organized by the literature and poetry-dedicated platform “Shayarana Ek Karwaan” on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Google Meet. This vibrant event brought together seasoned and emerging poets from across India and overseas, filling the evening with poetic brilliance.

Participants joined from international locations such as Oman, London, and Dubai, along with Indian cities including Jaipur, Mumbai, Etawah, Anupgarh, Sri Ganganagar, and Saharanpur, presenting their literary creations. The event featured a rich blend of poetic forms, including Ghazals, Sajal, Poornika, and Sher.

The event was conducted with strict adherence to discipline and decorum. Each poet presented their piece in the given time slot, maintaining the sequence, and the audience responded with appreciation and applause.

The founder of the platform, Dr. Rajeshwar Thakur, mentioned that this was their inaugural event. The program was conducted under the guidance of senior poet Irfan Alauddin and senior poet Sanjeev Sharma.
