Third Prof. R.N. Vyas Memorial Lecture on May 10

Udaipur,  The Faculty of Arts at Mohan Lal Sukhadia University hosted a special lecture in memory of renowned geographer and democratic movement leader Prof. R.N. Vyas, as it does every year on his auspicious date, May 10th, in the Science Auditorium.

Esteemed journalist Bhasha Singh and distinguished author, critic, and activist Dr. Himanshu Pandya were the keynote speakers. Professor Naresh Bhargava, a well-known sociologist, chaired the event.

Prof. Vyas was not only a popular educator, a serious researcher, and a skilled administrator, but he also expressed his views on burning issues of the country and society and actively intervened wherever possible. He played a significant role in establishing progressive values and uniting democratic forces in Udaipur.

Previously, renowned economist Prof. Amitabh Kundu and eminent litterateur Prof. Apoorvanand had attended to address past lectures organized in his memory.

Author of important books like **"Invisible India"** and **"Shaheen Bagh: A New Aspect of Democracy,"** Bhasha Singh addressed the upcoming Third Prof. R.N. Vyas Memorial Lecture on May 10th.
