A panther spotted in the Nal Ka  Bhilwara

A panther has been spotted in the Nal Ka  Bhilwara of Badgaon, prompting fear among the residents. Concerned about the safety of the locals, Sanjay Sharma, the Sarpanch of Badgaon, has written a letter to the Forest Department requesting the installation of cages.

According to Sanjay Sharma, the Sarpanch of Badgaon, on Wednesday evening, the sound of a panther was heard near the water tank in Bhilwara. The panther also injured a dog in the area. The presence of the panther in the inhabited area has instilled fear among the people. In view of the safety of the locals, on Thursday, a letter was written to the Deputy Forest Conservator of Udaipur demanding the installation of cages at the site.

In April 2023, a panther had killed a farmer, Fathasingh Kharwad, who was guarding wheat fields in the Paldi area of the Badgaon Panchayat. Consequently, the people of that area lived in terror for several days. Later, the Forest Department installed cages, capturing a panther near the Paldi Mahadev Temple.
