Mukhtar Qureshi Elected President, Mustafa Sheikh Becomes Secretary

 

Udaipur:The cabinet elections of the prominent Muslim community organization Anjuman Taleemul Islam were successfully held on Sunday at Raza Garden, Alipura. A total of 33 candidates contested for 4 key positions and 11 membership posts. Voting took place from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM, witnessing enthusiastic participation from both voters and candidates.

 


Mohsin Haider informed that the elections were conducted in a fair and transparent manner for all 15 posts. The election process was overseen by a dedicated team including Election Convenor Advocate Amjad Khan, Munawwar Ashraf, Zakir Hussain, Aleem Khan, Abdul Hanif, Iqbal Khan, Mustakeem Khan, Mohammad Shahid, Naresh Chaudhary, Qamar Hussain, Aman Khan, Hasnat Khan, Aseem Khan, Sahil Khan, Souheil Khan, Aamir Khan, and Anjuman staff members Azhar Khan, Mohammad Anees, Mohammad Irfan, Abdul Wahid, and Aftab Alam.

Out of 302 registered voters across the city, 300 cast their votes. Vote counting began after the Zuhr prayers and the results were officially announced at 8:30 PM by Election Convenor Advocate Amjad Khan.

President (Sadar):

Mukhtar Ahmed Qureshi: 141 votes (Winner)

Mehmood Khan: 69 votes

Mohammad Khalil Khan: 61 votes

Tabrez Khan: 26 votes

Secretary:

Advocate Mustafa Sheikh: 115 votes (Winner)

Umar Farooq: 99 votes

Tausif Hussain: 57 votes

Mohammad Farooq: 22 votes

Vice President (Naib Sadar):

Farooq Qureshi: 111 votes (Winner)

Mohammad Ilyas Multani: 100 votes

Dr. Syed Khurshid Ahmed: 83 votes

Joint Secretary:

Izhar Hussain: 106 votes (Winner)

Advocate Nawduzzama: 100 votes

Mohammad Irfan: 83 votes

Members (Top 11):

Advocate Adil Sheikh: 237 votes

Mohammad Shehzad: 211 votes

Siraj Khan Pathan: 209 votes

Fakhruddin Sheikh: 200 votes

Advocate Tauqeer Mohammad: 190 votes

Dr. Syed Irshad Ali: 187 votes

Firoz Bashir Khan: 170 votes

Tanveer Chishti: 166 votes

Mohammad Anees Abbasi: 152 votes

Mohammad Anees Raza: 126 votes

Irshad Ahmed: 121 votes

The elections were a reflection of democratic spirit and collective enthusiasm among the community. The newly elected team is expected to take forward the mission of Anjuman Taleemul Islam with dedication and progressive vision.
