District Governor's Inspection Program Organized by Rotary Club Surya

**Udaipur:** Dr. Nirmal Kunawat, the District Governor of Rotary District 3054, expressed that Rotary is a hope fulfilled by Rotarians. Rotary always believes in accomplishing the impossible, with the eradication of polio being its greatest example.

He was addressing the occasion of the District Governor's inspection program organized by the prominent Mevad Helioped Club Surya. He praised the service activities carried out by Club Surya during the year 2023-24.

The District Secretary, Deepak Sukhadia, mentioned that we are the first in the world to receive a global grant. He suggested that Rotary Club Surya should become a major service project and apply for a global grant from the Rotary Foundation. Madhu Sareen stated that despite being a new club, Rotary Club Surya has performed significantly better in service projects compared to older clubs.

The club's Charter President, Puneet Saxena, expressed that hope and trust have made Rotary Club Surya special this year. The club has worked on comprehensive development of rural government schools this year.

Initially, Club President Vikrant Shakdwipi briefed about the service activities carried out during the year 2023-24. He emphasized that the club has focused solely on service work for the betterment of society.

District Governor Dr. Kunawat felicitated service partners Puneet-Nidhi Saxena, Manish Benjamin, Umesh-Sunita Sharma, Prachi Shakdwipi, and Amit Mathur. Prachi Shakdwipi inaugurated the vending machine donated to the Government Girls' School on behalf of the club. Dr. Kunawat honored President Vikrant Shakdwipi with a scarf for becoming a PHF. He also felicitated Dr. Devendra Sareen, Madhu Sareen, Alok Sharma, and Sumit Varshney for their assistance in the medical camp organized by the club.

Lastly, Secretary Dheeraj Joshi expressed gratitude. The program began with a performance of Ganpati Vandana by little girl Darshana Joshi. Members like Dr. Devendra Punjavat, Kamna Punjavat, Amit Mathur, Shahid Hussain, Prachi Shakdwipi, Sunita Sharma, Umesh Sharma, Sandeep Dadhich, Manish Benjamin, Jayshree Benjamin, Bhopalsingh Jhala, Chetan Sharma, Dagan Patel, Sanjay Kamal, and others were present at the event. The program was conducted by Nidhi Saxena and Amit Mathur.
