###Chief Minister Grants Road Projects to Mewar

*Udaipur,The state government, in line with the implementation of the Chief Minister's Budget Announcement 2024-25 (Vote on Account), is serious about improving infrastructure. Under the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, administrative and financial approvals amounting to a total of ₹999.94 crores have been issued for 1,631 proposed works through the Public Works Department across the state. In Udaipur district (including Salumbar), approximately ₹5 crore has been allocated for each assembly constituency for road strengthening, missing links, and non-paved roads. A total of 57 road projects, costing around ₹40 crores, have been approved for the eight assembly constituencies in the district.

   - Strengthening and renovation of the road from Ayad Bridge to Shobagpura: ₹291.20 lakhs
   - Strengthening and renovation of Durga Nursery Road: ₹57.37 lakhs
   - Strengthening and renovation of the road from Dhulkot Chauraha to Mandal Road Lane: ₹16.38 lakhs
   - Strengthening and renovation of the road behind UTI Colony Community Building in front of Premila Chundawat's house: ₹6.49 lakhs
   - Strengthening of the road in Jain Temple Lane, Madhav Colony: ₹7.32 lakhs
   - Strengthening and renovation of road in Shaktinagar Lane No. 12: ₹3.93 lakhs

   - Road construction from Ukhalia Khera to Sakroda Road to Bhavli Jevana via Valra: ₹82 lakhs
   - Road construction from NH 162 E to Sakroda to Falichada Block Border to Daveji Ka Khera: ₹38 lakhs
   - Road construction from Odwadia to Naharmagra: ₹50 lakhs

**Public Will Benefit:**
Anil Garg, Superintending Engineer (Rural) of the Public Works Department, stated that the administrative and financial approvals for these road construction works have been received. The tender process will commence soon, providing significant relief to the urban and rural populations of the district.
