*Udaipur, "The contribution of the manufacturing industry is crucial in achieving India's goal of becoming the world's third-largest economic power and a developed nation by 2047. The government is committed to the development of the MSME sector," stated Mr. C. Narendra, Director of the National Productivity Council, New Delhi.
Mr. Manish Galundia, Honorary Secretary-General, informed that the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the National Productivity Council and the District Industry Center, organized an awareness program on lean manufacturing.
Dr. Anshu Kothari, Senior Vice President, welcomed everyone, emphasizing the government's commitment to boost the manufacturing industry and the need to disseminate information about various beneficial schemes to entrepreneurs through relevant government departments and UCCI.
Mr. Shailendra Sharma, Joint Director and Chief Executive Officer of the District Industry Center, urged entrepreneurs to undertake initiatives that bring about social change. He appealed to the public to promote the country's branded products.
In his address, Mr. V. K. Sharma, Director of MSME, DFEO, Jaipur, encouraged entrepreneurs to adopt lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste in the industry.
During the technical session, Mr. C. Narendra, Director of the National Productivity Council, New Delhi, presented information on the "MSME Competitive Lean Manufacturing Scheme," highlighting its significance in enhancing the capacity building of MSME enterprises for global and domestic market competitiveness.
In the question-and-answer session, Mr. Mukesh Singh, Director of the National Productivity Council, Jaipur, and Mr. K. R. Sharma addressed concerns and queries of the participants, guiding them on the online registration process for availing the scheme benefits at lean.msme.gov.in.
Entrepreneurs from the MSME sector actively participated in the program.
