RAJ KAPOOR REMEMBERED
Raj Kapoor an actor, director and producer was one man with multiple talents and rightly called as The Showman. Born on 14th December 1924, Raj Kapoor delivered several hits and was even honoured with national recognition like Padma Bhushan in 1971 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1987 for his contributions towards Indian cinema. Raj Kapoor suffered from asthma in his later years; he died of complications related to asthma in 1988 at the age of 63. The nation pays him a tribute on his 88th death anniversary.
