 
                            Under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme, an educational visit was organized for 60 adolescent girls and sathins from the district to promote women empowerment. The participants, representing the Gogunda, Girwa, and Mavli blocks, enthusiastically visited the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU).
During the visit, IIM’s Senior Administrative Officer Uday Bhaskar introduced the girls to the IIM Udaipur Incubation Centre, a non-profit organization that supports entrepreneurs in developing their startups. He explained that the centre fosters innovation and provides assistance such as workspace, mentorship, networking, and investor connections. The Incubation Centre is recognized by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and aims to create an ecosystem that inspires and empowers the new generation of entrepreneurs.
Assistant Administrative Officer Gajendra Singh Ranawat shared detailed insights into the IIM admission process, academic and administrative buildings, library, classroom system, and teaching methodologies. He also answered various queries raised by the students.
Deputy Director of the Women Empowerment Department, Sanjay Joshi, informed the participants about the objectives and components of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative. He encouraged them to set high goals, work diligently toward achieving them, and maintain a positive outlook, learning from every setback.
Before visiting IIM, the girls toured the Women Police Station, Udaipur, where they were briefed on the functioning of the police department and various provisions related to women’s safety. Counselors Pushplata and Kulasha explained the procedures followed in cases of domestic violence and shared insights into the operations of the Women Protection and Counseling Centre.
Officials Pooja Patidar, Gender Specialist Vimla Veerwal, and several sathins were also present during the program.
